Having long been drawn to the wisdom traditions of Buddhism, and Taoism, I was excited to learn that a therapeutic method existed that embodied many of the Eastern spiritual principles that I had grown to love.I found a natural fit in Hakomi and feel grateful for the opportunity to have studied and trained extensively with both Ron Kurtz and the Vancouver chapter of the Hakomi Education Network.
In February 2009 I was certified as a Practitioner in the Hakomi Method by founder, Dr. Ron Kurtz. Holding a deep reverence and passion for the method, I continue in Advanced Practice and participate in Master's Classes.
Previously, I trained in Homeopathy at the Vancouver Homeopathic Academy and hold a Diploma in Classical Homeopathy. Actively involved in BC's homeopathic community for a number of years, I served on the Board for the West Coast Homeopathic Society, lead frequent study groups, and taught and supervised student clinic for the VHA. After 10 years of practice I felt moved in a new direction and Hakomi graciously appeared in this next phase of my journey.
Do you have the patience to wait till your mind settles and the water is clear? Can you remain unmoving till the right action arises by itself. ~Lao Tzu
